Contributing Factors for Placenta Accreta in Patients Presenting in a Tertiary Care Hospital

Objective: determine the frequency of contributing factors for placenta accreta in patients presenting a tertiary care hospital Methodology: The study was conducted on all pregnant diagnosed with preavia ultrasound that were admitted through emergency and outpatient department Lady Willingdon Hospital Lahore. A total 180 fulfilling inclusion/exclusion criteria coming to Emergency Department recruited study. Contributing risk i.e. previa, number previous caesarean sections, Dilatation & Curettage recorded by researcher herself pre-designed proforma attached. Data collected analyzed single overcome bias. Results: In our study, out cases, 73.33%(n=132) between 20-30 years age while 26.67%(n=48) had >30 age, mean+sd calcualted as 27.89+4.14 years, shows 87.22%(n=157) 51.67%(n=93) <2preivous cesarean section, 48.33%(n=87) 3 section 27.22%(n=49) D&C. Conclusion: We concluded Placenta previa is leading factor followed 2 sections D&C accreta. Keywords: accreta, factors, dialatation curettage
